Leapfrog items, which is better?
My son has the leapfrog leap pad but he keeps ripping the pages on accident.
His bithday is later on this month and I wanted to get him a better version. So my question is, is the Leapfrog Leapster L-max or the leapfrog Leapster more appropriate for a 5 yr old?
Any info would we appreciated. TIA.

We have the Leapfrog leapster ( for 3 years now, and then a new one for second son for last 2 years). My kids love them. They play them all of the time. I love them because every game is educational ( I'm a teacher). I debated on the L-max, but wanted my kids to be able to share games. Also, I wasn't concerned about them playing on the TV, which if I recall, is the the big deal of the L-max. Anyway, my kids have been using Leapster since they were 4, and find them easy to manipulate.
