Considering Obtaining An XBOX 360 Bundle ?. Facts To Consider

by Steve V Lobston on February 13, 2010

When you are considering purchasing a new XBOX then there is a choice of just two types the Arcade and Elite - there have been other types but they are now discontinued. The serious problem with the Arcade is the disk drive - its capacity is only 256 MB this means that you will not get the ability to download virtually all game demos and certainly not any films. You have been warned. Only purchase an Arcade if you do not wish to download !.

Most people look at buying a bundle ie console and games etc.. The main thing to consider when comparing Xbox bundles is the main system and their individual specifications as well as their retail price if bought singularly.

A typical Xbox bundle includes the console along with at least two game titles. As part of the bundle you may also get something like a wireless controller or trial membership to Xbox Live (this gives you access to online gaming). It's worth pointing out that you need to connect the system directly to Your Own wireless router or purchase a wireless network adaptor. This adaptor is not usually part of a bundle.

So the thing you need to do if you would like the best value from your Xbox 360 bundle is to , compare the individual cost associated with all included game titles as well as accessories and obviously add that to the price of the console. Often the bundle can contain an unpopular title which could be unpopular for obvious reasons !. Ideally you want a bundle with two well-known and popular titles.

Do not forget the size of the hard drive is critical if you are going to be performing lots of downloads. Look at 120GB at least if you are planning on performing large quantities of gaming !.

It is certainly possible to find an Xbox bundle that actually saves you money over purchasing each product individually.
